I CAN TOO MARKS EARTH DAY BY SPREADING THE WORD ABOUT THE CORRELATION BETWEEN CLIMATE CHANGE AND CHILDREN’S HEALTH

I CAN TOO Foundation in partnership with the Renewables 100 Policy Institute launched the global movement – #LoveOurPlanetLoveOurKids #LOPLOK, raising awareness for the impact of climate change on children’s health, and the urgency to address it.

On April 22, I CAN TOO joins Earth Day initiative, when various events around the world are held to demonstrate support for environmental protection. As the Earth Day Network is the world’s largest recruiter to the environmental movement, we are proud to choose this day for spreading the word about our work.

Our goal is to inform the society and give solutions which counteract and slow-down climate change. Our advocacy efforts focus on encouraging and engaging people plan their activities with the environment and climate change in mind, which would be beneficial for their health and lives. We spread the word about existing activities that would make a difference in local communities’ well-being such as: recycling, mass cleanups, tree planting, healthy living, etc. We are working on analyzing research and reports highlighting the correlation between environmental pollutants and children’s health.

Now is the time to act on climate with solutions to create a healthy and sustainable future for our children!
